Clays Against Breast Cancer is an open event for every level of shooter—even if you’ve never held a gun. This is not a competition. Volunteers are on-hand to teach firearm safety, provide general skeet and trap shooting instruction and answer just about any questions you have about shooting and the event.

WHAT TO BRING
The most important things you can bring are your spirit of fun and your overwhelming desire to destroy breast cancer. We sell all the ammunition you’ll need (If you would like to bring your own, please make sure it meets the range requirements (no shot size larger than 7.5).
A limited number of guns will be provided by the Center, and LRSTC Members will also be loaning their guns at no cost. However, you may need to share a gun with a fellow participant.
We sell ear protection and have a limited supply of eye protection to lend for free (with a $2 refundable deposit.) You may also bring your own. Both of these items can be found at most hardware stores or home improvement centers. You may also wear your own prescription glasses or sunglasses.
Depending on the weather, we also suggest you bring sunblock.
Snacks and bottled beverages are available for purchase inside the center’s clubhouse.
FIRST TIME SHOOTERS
If you are a first-time shooter, please arrive about 30 minutes prior to your scheduled shooting time for safety and shooting instructions.
When you are ready to shoot, get a score sheet at the club house counter and head down to your assigned field. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to help.
When you’re finished shooting, bring your score sheet to the counter at the club house. Your scores will be tallied, recorded and returned. You’ll need the score sheet to collect your pledge contributions (plus it makes a fun souvenir!).
Don’t forget to download your Sponsor Pledge Form to raise even more money.
